hey guyzzzz,
Just thought I'd inform you: I have another blog, titled "Leaving this Planet." It's not really...about music, per se. It's titled after that dope Charles Earland track of the same name, which you should check if you aren't familiar.
Anyway, I'm working at an adult boutique, porn shop - whatever you wanna call it - and I'm having an interesting time. I think about it a lot, and I figured I might as well share my thoughts with others. It seems like it could be an interesting read. I'm trying to gauge that with this first post (about my first solo shift at work), and I'd appreciate it if you read and commented, if you find anything coming up while you read.
The url is: http://consentissexy.blogspot.com/ - a fitting url, given I chose it 3 years ago, I think. It wasn't always like this - I used it for general posts. Things came up in life and I posted. I beat video games and I posted. But now, I want to be intentional about it and make it into a project. I'm working this job because it's in an area of life that interests me, but an industry I have many concerns and qualms with. There's a lot to say, and I think it might help other people to hear these things, too.
I'll get back to the regularly scheduled programming, soon. And your flight theme, Matt, has me thinking of a track I need to post (by our favorite, Crown Heights Affair, no less). I'll see what I can do.
In the meantime, keep it real, y'all. I'm glad we're doing this. I was thinking, recently, that I could use someone(s) to do weekly/bi-weekly track-or-remix-making challenges with, and perhaps we could do something along those lines. I want to learn the software I have, rather than making excuses or being lazy. I have a few ideas, so whadya say? I'm gonna check out your edit, Matt, and I'll get back to you with some ideas/feedback. I want to make an edit, too. So I'll see what I can get going with that...see if you guys have ideas. :)
Peace
